For a regular everyday tourist most of Europe is a fun and safe choice.
I'm from somewhere in "Europe" but more of an adventurer/explorer than a tourist so I'd love to travel through Africa and South America.
Many more wars are started all over the world by non-Europeans, btw. Bad troll!! Bad!
It depends on the kind of tourism, in the past there were wars in Europe, but nowadays it's considered a safe place, while other places are considered dangerous, and if you travel with children, or you are not so adventurous, then you feel safer in Europe and you know that if you have any health problem, you can get medical care,...
On the other hand, as a result of the long historical past, there are many monuments from the middle age or before, from kings, from ancient civilizations, so it's historically interesting.
I think lots of turists like visiting Europe because is the continent who remind better America : there are so many Anglo-Saxon countries, while in rest of the world not. Other thing, in Europe you can eat all kind of better world's food, like Italy, where there is a pizza, famous all over the world. But it's also true in countries like Italy (again), Greece, Spain there is a lot of corruption in politics and laws for criminals are very mild !!!

ok im just kidding, europe is great and most places are pretty cheap tbh. people don't really have an opinion on Africa and South America other than that there's corruption and people are poor, which is a shame since they're amazing.
Because it's called "the old continent". A lot of green, mountains, a lot of countries around and sea is almost in every country.
It's the ideal place for holidays.
