I will not mince my words here and explain to you that Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin had a great relationship - let's put it into words - if you think of brotherly love - that just about sums it up. This very special pair of great men worked very well together.
The surprising truth about Winston and Joseph is that hardly any history has been written of their relationship. Yet it was the most stunning ever in all history - considering the yawning gap between them and their politics.
But I digress - Churchill and Joseph probably agreed at the outset that Greece with all of it's glorious Classical Hellenic history must be part of Western Europe, because it is the model upon which Western Europe and indeed the Western World is founded.
We only have to read the American Declaration of Independence and arrive at the part which speaks of "the pursuit of happiness. . ." and then ask yourself, where did that come from? It came from no less a person than Socrates of Athens who had created an entire philosophy wherein anyone can achieve a life of happiness.

The Yalta conference was the reason that Europe was divided into the East and West influence. Countries were allocated to the 2 major poltical powers.
