That was followed with James Bond riding a "pig" thru a gas or oil pipeline into USSR from Vienna and Rocky (the fake movie fighter to NOT be confused with the REAL Rocky Marciano, a REAL boxer) fighting Drago, (not even a Russian name), in a couple of many USA v. USSR movies.
So if an archenemy or arch rival is needed, look to Russia! American people are far more suspicious of Russians and harbor a dislike than Russians do of Americans. That is my experience, having had a few simple acquaintences in USA know i spend a lot of time over here.
