When Ukraine start nuclear weapons production again it won't any help. I think that's the best option.
Probably the same reason the World didn't help Hungary in 1956 or CH/SK in 1968 or many other countries that needed help.
We don't want to fight directly with Russia.
I confess I don't know really what is going on in the Ukraine. I live in Hungary right now and I do not really think people living here so close to Ukraine think twice about the fighting.
I have relations living in the Ukraine and know there has always been so sort of trouble in that region.
In 1917 my grandfather was a Cossack fighter. He went all the way from PA. USA to Poland-Ukraine and Russia to fight. Don't even understand why that happened and why he would travel so far to fight for his relations still living in Europe. I am not even sure what side of the issues he was on.
In the end it is all a waste of life and means nothing in the big picture.
Let's hope they find a way to resolve their issues before more people are killed.
I would ask why the world is not talking about the deaths of over 300 Ukrainians by their own government forces. The Ukrainian military needs no more help to kill. All I hear about is the plane crash. That has yet to be investigated by the authorities.
The Ukrainian army has been doing well killing their own people in eastern Ukraine. Russia has nothing to do with the ground conflict. The Ukraine government armed forces have been attacking and killing civilians in eastern Ukraine for months. The forces that are fighting against Kiev are not Russian, they are also Ukrainians who are trying to prevent the military from taking control of their region.
300+ people have been killed and thousands have had to leave Ukraine to find refuge.
You are quite mixed up about the situation.
I didn't see 'the world' doing anything in May when over 40 people were murdered in Odessa, Ukraine. I guess their Russian ethnicity meant that it didn't matter to 'the world'. The US started the conflict by supporting the violent overthrowing of a democratically elected Ukrainian president. To a big extent, the US is responsible for every last killing in that region.

USA and other countries can't interfere with soldiers in what it is an internal problem of another country . It was probably done in other circumstances but to do it now with Russia involved would only make the problem worst. Maybe if ONU would approve for peace keepers to be sent. That will never be done because Russia is a permanent member in the security council .

You don't need air supremacy to investigate a crash site. Also I doubt America will become involved unless the investigation team are attacked, which I think the rebels would have lobotomise themselves before considering that.
The "WORLD" has the own problems. It sounds selfish, but it's true. America can't go jumping into every little thing. That's why we get made fun of and called the world police. Countries need to stand on their own two feet and support themselves.
