My husband of over 41 years was born and raised in Europe.
In his "day" he was a ladies man about the city of Budapest. He had girlfriends that were the prettiest around even though he was just a skinny Mod city boy.
He has a great funny personality that made everyone want to be around him.
He arrived in the US without even speaking more then 2 words of English, the ladies still liked him allot because of his style and personal confidence.
Later after being together for years I asked him if he would be happier with a women from his home country.
He said no, way, American women were the friendliest, most honest and open minded he has found anywhere in his travels.
We can be spoiled at times and a bit prissy but overall we get over ourselves and are good friends to any partner. He said with the women from his home country it was more like if you give them your hand, they TAKE your whole arm. American women can share and not put as much pressure on a guy to be their knight in shinning armour.
My son married a European women he met in Europe, brought her to the US where she made he life a living he**. I helped her get a job in a Vegas casino. After they got to know her and experienced her vile temper they had a memo out to all hiring staff not to hire anyone from the country she came from. It stood until they sold out to a large corp.

so like the other 2 users said: I don't think that's true for most men....it's probably fifty-fifty.
