Europe's economy is fairly dependent on the fact that they don't have to put much money into military expenditures because the U.S. will defend them in a war.
They just want to be us, that's all it is.
The USA tried to leave Europe alone from 1914 to 1917 and from 1939 to 1941. How well did that work out?
I don't remember anybody asking us to.....
They need it for a battlefield if they push Russia one to many times
We trade with Europe. And we have a vested interest in preventing a 3rd world war over something petty.
