Will my child get served in benidorm?

if he wants to drink he will be served ! 12yr old kids have no problem in Benidorm.

The drinking age in Spain is 18 - but as you say, your son could easily pass for that. Hope this link helps.

There are actually far worse things for you to worry about than booze. Prostitution is legal in Spain - thus anyone can be approached by a prostitute - even your son. However, explaining this too him will probably only enhance his already racing teen brain with lust writ large on the screen at the back somewhere.

You could try filling and planning each day so that it's so full of activity that your son simply does not have time to go out on the booze.

The problem (if that's the way of putting it) with Benidorm is that it's about as Spanish as Southend, if you see what I mean. But then since the resort is mainly occupied by the British, that's what they go there for. England in the sun by the beach etc.

I've never been one to actually get into it, but I think it would be nice to at least soak up some Spanish culture. But don't spose it will happen. . .

It's Spain, if he looks old enough to have a drink, he will be served.

Yes he will,.if he looks old enough and not act stupid
