Would my business work in Ibiza?

To be honest I dont think the business would thrive in Ibiza, Ibiza is mainly tourists from May-September and after that everything closes for the winter so the beauty business wont do well and although there is Spanish residents there is a high number of African and Moroccan people who couldnt afford a facial etc. Any time I have been there I have never saw anywhere with laminate flooring as everything is tiled because of the summer heat. You might do better in a larger city like Barcelona or Malaga, you have to remember unemployment in Spain is double UK unemployment and most of the under 25 years olds who would want the facials etc are unemployed, Good Luck

Yes, your business work in Ibiza because in Ibiza lots of tourist visit every year. Don't be afraid and have fun in Ibiza.

Lower crime rate than where?

yes it can work just trust your yourself and make a positive attitude and start your business. that's a good place to live and also for a kids. and it's also depends on you how can you work on your business if you do your best it will work great.

There are lots beauty shops and parquet layers in Spain.

I assume that you have looked around Ibiza but I would suggest putting ads in the local paper to see if anyone wants your skills.

Remember that Ibiza dies in the winter so local clients are important - then there are the mallorquin speakers... .

I'm a married mother of 3 and we are seriously considering making a move to Ibiza, reasons being the nicer weather, lower crime rate, nicer environment to raise children etc!

I am a beautician and own a beauty salon, which I would like to do over there, offering skin treatments, chemical peels, micro needling, lash extensions, shellac and more.

My husband owns a flooring company and is self employed so he too can start up the business on the island, offering laminate and Karndean.

I would just like some sound, brutally honest advice as to how viable this plan sounds! We have been to the island many times and even married there so know what to expect in those terms. Our eldest child is 7, so there is still plenty of time for them to learn the language and flourish. Answers on a postcard please!
