are 1990s are back in Russia?

ly not free and democratic but with с совково-православным мракобесием

I was born in 1989, but I remember the 90's pretty good. Devastation, dirt, Hollywood movies on VHS, fellows in black Mercedes and with guns in their pockets, everyone's wearing horrible clothes, well, the last one wasn't an exclusively Russian problem ha.

I don't think you should compare the modern Russian way of live with the 90's way of live. Frankly, in the 90's everyone was excited to live NOT in USSR and I don't remember people being so proudly Christian, you know. In the 90's only old people went to Chirch. Everyone was poor back then and cared about having a job and some money. And politics cared about economy.

Now politics care about PR.

In the 90's they were lowly village fellows, who dress simple and drink heavily. Now politics are well-fed model family men, who are theatrically Christian, shokingly ignorant and are impudent beyond belief.

The same goes for ordinary people.

And I would compare modern Russia with American Bible Belt, not with USSR or post-Perestroika Russia. Everyone is conservative, everyone is talking about God and Devil and everyone's main problem is the existence of gays, atheists, free-thinkers and women who enjoy themselves instead of cooking and producing babies.

It's not the 1990's, it's something new. And I donэt like this s**t.

I would say, no. Younger people are much more mobile in search of new jobs, business opportunities, changing professions, etc...

Not even near. So far at least. The мракобесие though is indeed irritating.
