I live in Hungary and although they say the roots of both the Hungarian and Finnish languages are close, they actually don't sound the same at all and can not understand each other.
With DNA things should be much clearer then they are. Science should know by now.
Only linguistically, in fact the Hungarian language is less related to Finnish than what was first thought.
I'm sure there are bound to be one or two families in each country with relatives in one or both of the other countries.
Of course not, from Hungary to Estonia is 1324km. That is like saying are the British and the French related as it is only 43km across the water?
