I don't have any interest. However, I would say the majority of males seem to like it. The news media seem to think everybody is obsessed.
Angling is a more popular sport than football in England, but more schools encourage football because it's better exercise.
Despite the impression that you get from television Most men (and women) are generally unconcerned about football unless it's to see how badly the England team are doing in the World Cup.
Cricket is just as popular as football but it does not get the same publicity, and nowhere near the same amount of money.
Football is the most popular sport among those who do not do anything, who just sit and watch. The most popular sport among those who actually do the sport is fishing (many more people go fishing than play football).

This one doesn't! I've got better things to do than spend my time watching 22 grown men chase a bag of wind around a patch of grass for 90 minutes. (It is 90 minutes, isn't it? I'm not sure.)

Number one sport in the whole of the UK ( well Wales is more Rugby) but no "most" men don't, many do and it is not exclusively males who like some females do too
I hate it. I think the supposed love of Football by the British is rather exaggerated although it is undoubtedly the most popular spectator sport. I am a huge Cricket fan
