hotels in the UK?

My fiancee and I are getting married next year and we want to go to Scotland and England. We couldn't choose just one so we are going to stay half the time in Scotland and the other half in London. We found out there's a train that goes from Edinburgh, Scotland to London, England. I was wanting to find a hotel in both cities that is under 150 dollars a night. My fiancee was hoping we could find one with a jacuzzi tub in the room. Does anyone know of hotela in either city that has jacuzzi tubs? I tried looking it up and found one, Britannia or something like that. But they have no pricing information on their site at all. So basically we're looking for a hotel with a jacuzzi tub or at least a good sized tub lol. Thanks for any answers.

I associate Jacuzzi Tubs with more expensive hotels and I am not sure rooms with those facilities are that common in Britain. Perhaps go for a higher price hotel and save money on your rail tickets by booking them well in advance for specifically timed trains. Booking opens 11 weeks ahead of your journey and the trains run every 30 to 60 minutes from Edinburgh Waverly to London Kings Cross. The average journey time is 4 hours 25 minutes www.eastcoast.co.uk To collect your tickets from the station you will need the same credit card you used online and the booking reference number

The best budget hotels in London are Premier Inn. Of their many hotels ensure you choose a central London or close to central London location like Hampstead/Belsize Park, Islington, City Road, Waterloo/Westminster

Assuming you mean 150 > US < Dollars (you don't say) then it is enough for a fair-to-good hotel in Edinburgh (depending on when you visit) and a basic hotel in London. Hotel costs go from high all year to higher during the summer tourism season.

Check with a real travel agency regarding hotels with in-room jacuzzis, but I don't think you will find one anywhere near $150/night. Also ask the travel agency about special deals. As another answer suggests, there are some very nice hotels in the countryside which will better fit your budget.

Check with your health insurance to find out if it covers you outside the USA and pays for medical evacuation to home (should that be necessary). If yes then take proof of coverage with you. If no or not sure then get trip medical insurance, which is cheap and sold by airlines & travel agents. PLEASE do not skimp on this as an otherwise-silly accident could turn into a crisis if you don't have medical insurance.

The hotel price in London changes a lot during the year. In March I can get a single room with shower for £50/$80 per night. By July/August that same room will be £120/$185.

Here's a better alternative - stay out of the cities. London is culturally a completely different place from "proper England". Save London for another trip, stay out in the countryside where it is much more peaceful and suitable for your honeymoon. Come back to see London another time, when you have more money to spend.

There are many hotels in London with jacuzzi tubs: but none for that budget. Generally the most basic hotels in London are £100+ a night.

You could see if you could find a budget chain (such as Travelodge or premier inn) with rooms with a bath, but it won't be a luxury option; most hotels in your budgets are likely to only have showers.

You'll be lucky to get a basic room in a budget hotel for that money.

Between two such major British cities there is of course a TRAIN ...Under £100 no hot tub...

None at that Price!

more like $300+ per night for one like that

and you need to Think in Pounds Not Dollars-

- the usa dollar is currently worth about >>> 65 >Cents>
