Live in the UK, travelled the world, spent 6 months in Oz. Boring? Depends what you consider interesting. All interesting if you take the time to look. Biggest problem with Oz is an awful lot of empty space (which I find interesting) and a very small population (which I find interesting) and it is a bit wannabe USA. Loved it, but in 6 months saw most of it - including Darwin and Perth. Lived in the UK all my life but still only scratched the surface. Too much for lifetime.

So how much of the UK. have you seen? The word boring suggests to me that you are passively sitting around waiting for something or someone to entertain you. Life isn't like that. If you go to a new country read some books and a guidebook about it. Discover what interests you and go an see it. This is a small country with plentiful public transport

No I love London as a Tourist and try and Visit every couple of Years

It depends on you what you consider boring. If you talk about people and their behavior and compare it with australians then you should be aware that britans are more friendly than Australia

Well, it's boring compared to Australia in that there is virtually no wildlife that's capable of killing you, which Australia abounds in.

Can you say why you think that, We don't have Great whites to play with or roo crap everywhere, mind you some of our dog owners do leave messenges about at times.

We have castles from 1066 and churches too and stone age mounds and forts, we don't have the warmth of the sun

NOT always..OZ has the weather, but can lack a lot of cultural things and places are so FAR away..In UK can fly to another country for a weekend break ...
