In the UK the sales are right after Christmas or in mid to late June -- dates vary by retailer. This year Harvey Nichols started their slae on 18 June, Selfridges on 23 June and Harrods on 28 June

If you are referring to summer and winter sales then you need to mention which countries you will be visiting. Europe is not a country, it is a continent which contains nearly 50 countries, and each country has it's own sale period.
