what countries are in the soviet union?

There is no Soviet Union. There is only the Russian Federation. No other countries. Some of the former republics have Russian populations that have ties to Russia such as Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakstan, South Ossetia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Transvestria, Chechnya.

There WERE 15 Republics in the USSR. Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Byelarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaidjan, Kazakstan, Armenia, Georgia, Tajikistan, Kirghizia, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. Those 15 are now separate countries.

None. The Soviet Union has long since been disbanded.

NONE since no longer exists...
