What an ego and Americans complain when people Don't like The USA

You need to have something we want to be jealous

we dont like Guns or the Patriot act or CIA black sites

your Restaurant staff are poorly paid we dont need to tip in the UK

you Drive on the Wrong side of the Road you dont speak or spell English

and when i was emigrating from the UK the USA was Not on My list

Name one thing American that an educated person would Desire

Pray tell what does the USA have that Australia does not have a 100 times more

I am wondering what you think we are jealous of.

Could it be that here in the UK we have a minimum of 28 days paid holiday every year, with other EU countries having similar numbers of paid days off, while in America companies do not have to give American workers any paid holiday.

Perhaps you think we are jealous because here in Europe if we are sick we can go to the doctor and whether we need a few stitches or open heart surgery it costs nothing to be treated, that our health system is based on need not ability to pay. Could you think we are jealous because no one in Europe goes bankrupt because of medical bills, the biggest single cause of personal bankruptcy in the USA.

Or maybe you think we are jealous because we are no longer debating whether evolution should be taught in schools or indeed if global warming is a fact.

Then again you might think we are jealous because we have a longer life expectancy, lower murder rates. Or could you think we are jealous because we are not still considering whether women should have the right to control their own fertility.

Keep telling yourself that, if it makes you feel better, if nothing else it gives us Europeans a laugh .

They are not jealous of too much other then what they think they see in films.

I am an American living in Europe and honestly, they have things going on that just isn't happening in the US while we have things they don't even understand or really know much about.

What I miss in the US is being able to drive forever without seeing another car, going full speed and having the radio on full blast. In Europe driving is more of a hassle then a pleasure for me.

If you look good and have half a brain in the US you can land a great paying job without too much effort.

( personal experience from my youth)

In Europe it is much harder to get a good job without an education.

In my perfect would I spend 6 months in Europe and 6 months in the USA.

As I age, I do think the US treats their seniors better, at least there are tons of things for them to do for reasonable prices. In Europe there are no half price dinners for the aged or cheap activities such as 3 month swim passes for under $25. in a modern heated pool. No nighttime activities like those offered in Las Vegas.

No fee college courses that I know of for older people.

I have a friend from the UK a year older then I am and she can't afford to retire in the UK. She is moving to Hungary far away from her kids to be able to afford her older age without working.

Which Americans are you referring to? North-Americans or South-Americans? Canadians, Mexicans, Brasilians, Peruvians, Venezoleans? Each country has something to be jealous of. Canada, because of the rugged nature. Mexicans for their nice food and excellent beers. Brasilians for their fabulous football (played with feet) players. Peruvians for their ancient historic sites. Venezoleans because petrol is cheaper than water there. Oh, and the USA, ofcourse, because everything is bigger there.

They are not. It's more a feeling of sadness to see a formerly great country going downhill, especially the last 6 years during which America has pretty much lost respect around the world.

nothing to be jealous, one thing americans make better are clothes and fragrances and fast foods, but you can always buy it on place here in europe or just order it through ebay.

I just nearly fell off my chair laughing. Hilarious!

I'm not, ghastly place. Basically, the USA is a good idea that got out of hand.

not true, no reason to be jealous

Don't fed the troll.
