If you're going by the statistics then yes the number of Turkish woman mistreated and abused each year is overwhelming. If I'm not mistaken turkey is one of worst countries for women to live in.

Turkey is about %35-38 (mostly in east parts)
Its still high in Turkey and hope will be stopped with legal regulations. But lets be honest violence is not a national thing its about ignorance.
What kind of generalization is that. We are Muslim and according to our religion we have to respect our mothers, mother in laws and love our wives and daughters. BTW in Ottoman empire saying a bad thing to a teenage girl was seen as a rude thing. So no Turkish men don't hate their women.
it is not really hate but some men just doesnt respect women but its rare in public. on the other hand domestic abuse is kinda issue if you are married with someone without knowing him. for example if you marry a guy after 2 month there is a high possibility of domestic abuse in future days because you dont even know the guy literally. if you are not planning to marry a guy that you dont even know do not worry about it.
and i disagree with elif su. if a guy going to abuse you then they just do no mather what their belief is
