It is the media, they do that for us and tell us what and which people we should like, who we should be in with and whose side we should be on
People tend to dislike things they don't understand.
Back in history, Russia was somewhat isolated by choice from western Europe.
It has always been a place of mystery for outsiders.
After 1917 Russia was even more isolated from the west and the Cold War Years made people distrust Russia.
Russia is still very unknown to most people in the west. They may just need to do some better public relations.
Who hates them,there is nothing to hate them.
Because they are kind of racist. They do not like anyone who isn't from Russia.
They will mafia like deal with people who are not russian, but if you are white around a russian frat in california. If you are not russian also, you are like a black guy in segregated alabama in the 50's.
