Are ads for posting links on the internet scams?

A great number are, the best known used to say Work for Google Posting Links, their fake news blog ad claimed a stay at home mom made some $6000 a month part time. IT turns out after paying $2 shipping for "free" information you were rebilled for about $40 more for a course in doing business using Google paid Adwords ads, far from a sure thing. Google sued about 50 sites for misusing their name, after that the ads no number mention Google but still picture their HQ.

There is a value to sites seeking better search ranking to get links from other sites, so there are lower level SEO workers who specialize in generating links, there are also software robots that can generate thousands of free site accounts and links a day, so the value of these easy to get links is pretty low.

This ABC TV expose from a few years ago shows how elaborate some of work at home scams are.

The proper term is quality or useless services. There are websites that allow free ads postings that has little or no value at all, at times, these sites are called link farms, and how to identify it? They usually have these criteria:-

1. You would notice there are hundreds of links one page alone.

2. Links at that page is not a deep link, A good quality site would direct you to a distinct webpage within that has seo optimized with title, description, keyword tags. Link farms do not do so, they have hundreds of links on one same page and hundreds of links direct to their own respective websites. Means outgoing links are tremendously high from one page alone, which ultimately mean that website has little or n value at all which top search engine would not like.

3. Few months old website. A long term business should and would have a long aged domain name.

There are just a few things to watch out for.

It is one of the greatest online scams and as said before, you get billed before you even get the materials to learn how to post the links. The links you will be posting or advertising is their affiliate links and they get 100% of the commission before they decide how much to pay you if the links you posted are performing well. So why not join thousands of free affiliate programs online, post your affiliate links and get 100% of the commission yourself than do it for someone else? There are thousands of such websites but they all lead you into a single sales funnel.

Yes.

On paper, the business opportunity works......as long as you already have a highly trafficked website and everyone who visits the websites clicks an ad and makes a purchase.....every single minute of every day.

In reality......not so much.
