Can 17 year old gf move in with me?

Only with the LL's consent.

She cannot sign the lease until she is 18, so if the LL agrees, she will have to be added as an occupant for the time being.

No landlord in their right mind would rent to at 17. It is too risky. Even at 18, it will be tough. Since you are not married, they are under no obligation to approve her. She needs to pass the credit check & will probably need a cosigner unless that job is full time. She must be on that lease. It protects both her & you from problems. Don't do it if you can't afford it. If you break up, can you afford the rent alone?

With the landlord's consent she can be added to the lease as a resident but not as a lessor.

She can't be on the lease until she turns 18 but can live with you until that time if she has parental consent and approved by the landlord. Landlord consent is paramount, without it her presence could put your own tenancy at risk.

She cannot sign anything legal until she is 18

Issue !: Age of consent for sexual intercourse in AZ is 18. If her parents want to make trouble they can charge you with statutory rape. Issue 2. Age to enter into a binding agreement: 18. Landlord can add her to lease out of ignorance but if you two love birds have a falling out she can claim she is not of legal age leaving you 100% responsible for meeting payments of the lease.

She can NOT be added, to the lease, until she turns 18-years of age.

Unfortunately not; one must be 18 to enter into a legal contract. Otherwise, the lease would not be legal...

So is she pregnant or did you find another child to fu** ....

I'm 20 and my gf is 17. She turns 18 in 2 months. She's already out her parents house. She has a job. Can she be put on the lease of my apartment so she doesn't have to sneak around? State is az if that matters.

Yes of course

No. She cannot be on the lease until she is 18. If you sneak her in you can be evicted & sued.

Yes of course

Wait till she gets into 18 then its ok

Yes of course

Yes. You could be put on a parental status for her though. < just a chance.

You need to research "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" for your state.

So far you have gotten away with contribution to a minor and possibly having sex with a minor. Now you want that minor to move into a rental unit with you.

If the landlord allow this minor child to reside in his/her rental unit they are aiding and abetting you in the contribution to a minor.

It might be that you would wait until this minor child is an adult.

There must be a reason she no longer reside in her parents house, though I doubt if it is for any good reason,=. Parents do not put their children out that are obeying the rules of the house, attending school , or have a job and contributing to the household in a positive way.

You need to ask the landlord now if this juvenile delinquent would be added to the lease agreement and in what capacity they would allow her to be on the lease.

Adding her to the lease would prevent her from doing what she is currently doing and that is staying in your rental unit now and not on he lease.

If the landlord catch you for having your girlfriend stay over in excess of what is allowed for a guest to stay, you could be evicted from the rental unit.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.
