I have tried this in the past without much success to be fair, it's quite difficult to offload a domain you no longer want in my opinion, and I usually just let them lapse...
Of course you can sell your domain name. many places to sell them but the better places are as follows;
Bodis.com
Sedo.com
Afternic.com
NameDrive.com
GoDaddy.com
List the domain for sale on all of these sites. Alternatively you can join a domain name forum such as NamePros.com and try and sell it in their marketplace at reseller pricing. If your domain has traffic it could be worth something and at Namepros the pros can help let you know how the transfer procedure works.
Of course, you can sell your domain on online bidding websites like Flippa and Godaddy auction.
I am thinking about selling my domain name. I used it for a website and then stopped doing things with the website so Im wondering if I can sell it. I bought it from google web pages, and its a 1 year registration. Can I sell my domain even though its a 1 year registration?
