Can I use other charities/companies logos on my poster?

of course you can but you have to get the logo from the company and ask.. most of them have no issues with it. but they do want to ensure you use their correct logo even taking it off their web site is a big no no.

but it's a great added value tool i'm 95% sure that no one would say no.

But if you do it with out asking you could be lining yourself up for a lot of law suits!

ASK FIRST!

You will definitely be breaking copyright laws and no charity will allow you to use their logo because people will be tempted to donate to you after seeing the recognised logos and the charity won't make anything out of it.

You can certainly ask the charities for permission but it is guaranteed that they will reject your request and refuse you. It is all about money, if you want to use a charity's logo, you have to pay them some significant commission before they will agree to it.

Just ask the companies.

Why not ask them...? Saves a lot of trouble later on.

not without authorisation

contact them for consent

I'm holding a community event and would like to add the companies/charities logo's to the events poster to show who will be attending with a stall. If i was to do this and print it out would i be breaking any copyright laws? Thanks
