Can a landlord leave you without heating?

Yes, legally a landlord must provide some type of heat, plumbing, hot water, electric or gas.

Why on earth did you move there if there was no heating. Surely you would have checked. Did you look for any radiators or fires ? You can buy heaters yourself as she has said.

I am at a loss to see why you are complaining?

UK

How were you expecting to heat the place?

You must have looked for heaters/radiators, surely?

Check with your city or town. It may be illegal to rent a property without heating. Then your lease will be void and you can go elsewhere.

When we rented our flat the landlady didn't tell us there was no heating at all as it's grown colder we need heating I have a 2 year old son. Does she legally have to supply heating as she has sent me a message saying she is not supplying heating and to buy heaters ourselves?
