Can apartments change policies without notice?

They can change anytime they want, if it is in your lease they can not offer it for the next lease. They probably have a good reason not to do transfers, it would mean they have to clean your old apartment after just cleaning the empty so it cost them time and money. They won't take your baby if you can't provide him with is own room, if you can't afford more before he is too old to sleep in your room you might need to sleep in the living room until you earn more money.

Since you are not a tenant no notice is required. There isn't any legal reason your children can't share a room. Also the baby can also share a room with the parents. Until they are 2 if you are married, as long as you want if you are single.

nope, change is life - u get to roll with it.

'babies' Never need a separate room.

given info, all u need is a 2bed/2bath apartment.

a library card will help u learn to earn more money from work

or as extra income with no job.

daughter can handle brother in same room till she

16 by then u can have learn to earn better income for a better life.

Yes they can. They are not changing your lease and that is their only obligation.

They can change anything that isn't specified on your lease.

Of course they can.

I live in Oregon, and after being on a waiting list for 1.5 years for a 3 bedroom (just had a baby almost a year ago) I get told that they apartments are not longer doing transfers for people in that area of concern. Is there something I can do about this? I have an 8 year old daughter and an almost 1 year old son. By state law if I recall right they have to have separate rooms. I can't afford to move or live anywhere else, help I need information. Thanks you kindly.
