You live there full time you pay full rent So yes you can be evicted.
You can be evicted unless you have paid all rent due. Part payment don't cut it.
In the event that I accept a partial payment (it's not often) I only do so after the tenant has signed a form stating on what date they will have the remainder paid by and in which they acknowledge that if that remainder payment is not made that date my acceptance of the initial payment does not waive my right to move on and continue with the eviction process. That's what my state requires of me in order to work with a tenant on back rent and still retain my rights. If I fail to have a tenant complete that form I would not have clear cut road to successfully obtain an eviction if I filed for one in that month. There are states in which the law favors the tenant if the landlord accepts a partial payment. You need to consult the laws specific to where you are.
If you received a "Pay or Quit" notice, and you paid partial rent and the landlord accepted it, it makes that Pay or Quit notice null and void. All they have to do is serve you with another Pay or Quit notice for the balance and wait out the time period on it until they send you to the attorney to start the eviction process.
nope...if they accept partial rent for December, they cannot evict you for not paying December rent,,HOWEVER, if you pay January rent in full they can file an eviction action for back rent from December...look it up...to many stupid lazy people on yahoo...llook it up...you one of the stupid people I am talking about
Yes, of course! You have to pay ALL of the rent on time and in full every month to avoid being evicted.
Do you *really* think the LL has to support you? You should understand that you are stealing your LL's income when you don't pay your rent in full each month.
Some rent? Of course. You must pay ALL the rent due.
