Check your rental agreement. Does that lease prohibit having more than one animal?
If, for example, the lease says that you may have no more than one dog and one cat then you are fine.
Either way it is best to call your land lord and ask.
You would need to get the landlords approval.
Ask the landlord. They may want more pet deposit.
Any agreement can be altered if both parties want to alter it.
We already have a dog that is in the lease agreement. Could we call our landlord and see if we can get one? Or is it set and we cant get another pet until the lease is over
