You will lose the deposit and first months rent. You will also be liable for rent for the full term of the lease or until a new tenant is found to take your place. If you fail to pay as agreed, the landlord can sue you....which will have a huge impact on your credit.
You should have a copy of your lease, it should tell you about the rules. Some leases say if you stay less than a month you don't owe anything. Most leases required a 30 notice for moving. You'll have to read your lease and ask your landlord.
You are bound by the lease as soon as you sign it. There is no right of rescission for leases.
If the lease contains an early termination clause, pay the fees as outlined. You will be released from any further obligation.
No you cannot. A lease is a legally binding agreement & was legally binding the minute you signed it. They can charge you what ever lease break fee was stated in the lease if you break it. If none was stated they can charge you rent until it is re-rented.
You will owe rent for the remaining period, unless, in the UK, if you haven't actually moved into the accommodation no tenancy is created. But you will lose what you have paid in compensation to the landlord of course.
I signed a lease and I'm not sure if I want to move out anymore? I paid a deposit and first months rent? What can happen if I break it? Would it be considered an eviction ?
