Some sites getting 1000 visitors a month earn just $10 from Adsense ads, (some earn more per visitor)
Perezhiltom.com has made millions sitting in his Hollywood bedroom gossiping about celebrities and scribbling on their photos (it helps to have gotten some TV exposure)

My guess is that anyone making decent money off their blog probably started 10-15 years ago.
Being a blogger is like being a reporter. Can you be original and write something others would want to read? Then can you promote? Yes, it is possible, but to be successful is difficult at best.
yes you can if you are famous and people like you than you get sponsers and the more views you get
the more money for you.
but dont do the blogging just for the money because people will notice and you can get loads of haters.
do it because you want and its fun for you and the sponsers and money will come sometime.
it takes time, but yes if you can get a lot of traffic to your blog, you can use google adsense :)
