I was wondering does anyone have any ideas on some of the different search engines out there?

Well of course you have google which is the king of searching really.

Adding into that Bing, which for what is worth is actually good in certain areas. You also have Yahoo, which is diabolical when you're trying to find something, so don't use that.

And if you're old enough, you'll remember "Ask Jeeves". Which was the first search engine that I ever heard of! At the moment i think there are hundreds of search engines, but those are some of the main ones.

There are various search engines that can work well for you. Most of the people generally encounter with google, yahoo and bing whereas there are a lot more. Google is king of search engines and well known by the peoples.

There are many search engines like Google,Alta vista,Yahoo search,MSN,Alexa,AOL search,AllTheWeb etc.

Mostly I use google but I know little more like altavista, aol, ask, baidu, mamma, yahoo, bing, zade, gheeto and various other.

Dogpile, google, bing, yahoo, yipee,
