Does anyone know a real freelancer website which is real?

I'm looking for data entry jobs on the internet as freelancer. I know there are lots of scam and would like to get some information about it...Any good suggestions? Many thanks :))

A real "data entry" website you can make money from!!

If you find one, you could earn millions letting everyone know!!

There are at least 10 big name marketplaces that are legit, you are dealing with individual "employers" there so the outcomes can vary, Freelancer.com does have a reputation for being the wild west of the freelancer sites with more workers and employers scamming each other, and an Anything Goes section that might have some jobs the other sites don't have.

Odesk had projected that the online worker market would reach 1 Billion Dollars in 2012. They have produced some interesting graphic representations of how the job skills correlated to countries.

You can read some of the statistical reports from some of the bigger sites, like Elance.com which alone paid out $200 Million to workers in 2012. https://www.elance.com/q/online-employme...

vWorker.com was a programmer specific site formerly named RentAcoder and is still a strong source for skilled techs. Guru.com is another respected site that's been around for 14 years.

It's a little tough to get started on a site until you have developed a track record of satisfied customers.

If you really insist to look for data entry jobs even though you know that you might get scam. I can give you some ideas on how to avoid getting scam. When looking for data entry jobs online look only on legit sites like Elance.com, Freelancer.com, Staff.com, Odesk.com and etc. Avoid sites that ask you registration fees or investment up front before you could get a job. When looking for clients check their online reputation first before starting the job. Newly registered employers that offer you good pay to do data entry jobs might just scam you. I think Tony misunderstood your question. You are referring to work-at-home or off-site freelancing sites like elance.com or odesk.com. The way to find the higher paying freelance jobs is to search the regular job sites using the keywords of either freelance or telecommuting. At your local Craigslist website, just beyond the job category is one called "Gigs". There's some pretty good stuff there. If nothing results from local job sites or national job sites, then try sites like elance.com. The pay is substantially lower but it might be the proverbial 'foot-in-the-door'.

On the bright side of elance.com type sites, at least now the surviving freelance sites filter out all the outrageously lowball pricing that drove serious business away in the early 2000's. Pay is still low but not lower than U.S. minimum wage. Best of luck.

I use peopleperhour.com, but Jake (above) has listed many more...there are a lot of myths around concerning earning money from the internet at home, so, be careful. If you are tendering for work, don't quote a figure that is far below what you can afford and don't forget to save for your tax.

there are a lot of good free lance website we all free lance in one way or another. If you want to be a free lancer then you need to get a website up and running. start writing blogs and put a link to your website.

No one is gonna hire you without seeing your writing. Just because you put it on here
