No. Ebay has far more sellers than buyers, so don't get too downhearted if your dresses don't sell first time around. Just list them again (preferably on a free listing day) and if necessary reduce the starting price.
You may also find it hard to attract buyers until you've built up some feedback, which you can do by being a good buyer.
No. Loads of things don't sell. You can look at completed listings which shows you what has sold and for how much and what hasn't sold.
If you've only just put them up give it time. You may not get a bid until the last minute. Sometimes you can get no bids until less than 10 minutes til the end and then get a few just in the last minute. Other times you may get no bids, or people may be watching the item and never bid.
If you've started them off cheap then there's more chance you'll get some interest but even that doesn't guarantee any bids, nor that if you get interest that it'll go up a lot in price. You could star something at 99p and get 3 bids and still only get ￡1.40. You just never know how an auction will go.
If they don't sell you can always relist them.
Not always, if it doesn't sell ebay will message you saying if you re list the item and it does sell then they wont charge you for re listing it.
Try to list things that end on a Sunday afternoon when people are about, a lot of bids are made in the last few minutes so no point in an item ending at say 6 in the morning when folk are sleeping.
Not everything sells. Lots of bids come in closer to the end date, especially in the last few hours. Don't stress if you've just put them up!
Yes everything on eBay sells if you wait long enough - that's assuming you have priced your dresses correctly and they are not too expensive.
