If you are getting food stamps and on Medicaid, you are not allowed more than $2000 in assets and a certain low income. So with low income and no cash, how would you pay for a house?
If you need to be on Medicaid and food stamps, you flat out cannot afford to buy a home. It's not that those things disqualify you, it's that you can't even afford food, so you obviously can't afford to purchase a home.
You cannot be declined just because you have medicare and food stamps. If you are getting food stamps then your income isn't high enough to qualify for a house.
no u can not get house loan if on
medicaid and food stamps. simple.
mom can barely afford renting.
library can help u learn.
u need to EARN money for getting a loan
The fact that you get food stamps and medicaid is not going to affect buying a house. However, if your income is low enough that you qualify for food stamps and medicaid, it is probably too low to qualify for a mortgage.
To qualify for a mortgage, you need to show that you earn enough to pay that mortgage. If you do not earn enough to even pay for your own food, I would imagine you dont earn enough to show you can afford a mortgage. that being said, if you can get off food stamps Do it!!!!! You will never get ahead nad if depend on others when you can get a job and build up your skills over time. Do it for yourself and evenutally you will be able to get that house ! Good luck to you.
My mom said you can't get a loan because you have medicaid and food stamps? How do they affect getting a house? Should I stop getting them?
