Ebay is a much wider market place so your products will be along side many of similar / same items which will bring your price down.
The gumtree interface is really easy to use, I have sold many items on both sites and much prefer Gumtree
Good luck
Have you ever attended an auction or maybe made a winning bid on ebay?
You may have fallen victim to the ‘ winners curse ‘ without realising it! This is an Economic/mathematical theory that suggests you may have paid over the odds by using this medium of purchase.
http://www.wemakemints.co.uk/ebay-winner... Really quite useful
Try selling it on Gumtree and if no one buys it then go for eBay (which in case you didn't know, now OWNS Gumtree).
Sorry to say this but it sounds like a pile of junk and you will be lucky to sell it on any of those two sites.
Sell it all on eBay and pay them commissions for selling it on their website.
I have a few things to sell. Is it better to try gumtree as its free & collection only? or pay e-bay a fee but has a wider customer base? + i can send stuff to people and get covered by paypal.
Basically i'm going to try and sell some old guitar's and AMP's - but not sold anything online before -:-/
Also if anyone can click my link - www.tutornearyou.com - it'll also help my website get a better status. And really appreciate it!
