Flag the ad. He is under NO requirement to sell it to you, at all, in any way shape or form and he is absolutely within his rights to refuse to do business with you.

Flag the ad as prohibited or decide if you want to spend $9000 on the car. Legally, you have no standing in this matter. Sorry.
I'm sure a judge would believe that it was an obvious typo, and that no buyer with any sense of the real world would imagine anything bigger than a matchbook car wold go for $9, No Case.

Ok. There is a 2007 Honda Civic on Craigslist. He he is selling it for $9 not 9k jus $9. I e-mailed him to change it to $9,000 in case he was not aware that he had it for sale for $9. If someone wanted to sue him if they wanted the car and he had it advertise for $9 would that rule apply?
