There are basically two types of SEO. On page and off page.On page SEO refers to the actual content on the page, both hidden, as in the Head section, and the visible, which is what your readers see. In the head section you should make sure that you complete the Title tag, the Description tag and the Keywords tag. A page title, for instance, should accurately reflect what the content of the page is about, using keywords where possible.
In your content you should use keywords in a natural way, spread throughout the words on the page. Keep in mind what the search engines are looking for - relevant and valuable information for their searchers.
Off page SEO is basically obtaining backlinks to your pages from other relevant websites. Notice the word relevant. The search engines will take little heed of a link from a travel website if your page is about digital cameras. You need links from websites who deal with cameras or photography in general.
Links can be obtained by joining forums and adding a link to your site in your signature, by writing articles and submitting them to article directories with your link in the resource box of the article and commenting on blogs in a similar field to your own, to name just three. There are many others and this topic is outside the scope of this answer.
Good serach engine rankings are not obtained overnight but if you continue adding useful content to your blog on a regular basis and gradually build up the number of backlinks that you have you can achieve as much in 90 days as any of the companies that offer SEO services.

Seo is not something that can be achieved by purchasing a software. I would suggest you to download the free trail version and use it. After using the trail version buy the software only if you are satisfied. I did my end of research on the internet about this product and it looks like its a good software however i would advise you to give the trail version a shot.

Hello everyone, I recently created a blog and was accepted by Google Adsense. I had a question about generating traffic, I was going to buy the pro edition of ibusinesspromotor. I was wondering if any you had success with it? It says it will bring you into the top search listings of google within 90 days, do you think I should try it? I'm only nervous because it's $180. I'd appreciate if you listed any SEO sites that worked for you. And also, I'm not completely sure on what the term SEO means, and its purpose, so if you could answer these questions then I'd greatly appreciate it!
