I didn't find obvious consumer complaints, the last place I looked is the the only place they admit to being a Chinese based (counterfeit) site is in the Contact Us page (perhaps a late addition for legal protection). All of the other domain name registration info, registration and hosting company locations suggest that it was U.S. based. That same office address appears in numerous business listings sometimes a U.S. state or Australia appended to the very Chinese looking address, including dressesmall.com.au, persundresses.com
If you used the little camera icon tool in Google Image you would find many other sites using the same stolen catalog images.

If you can get a credit card back-charge or somehow stop payment, do it, although doubts or buyers remorse alone may not be sufficient to get a refund from a bank. Good luck you may have to settle for the satisfaction of exposing them in the numerous scam/ripoff reporting sites, there is an absense of mentions so far...
The bogus looking registered address for the 7 month old site is in: Sugar Land,Texas Louisiana, while Google Maps shows there is a Texas residential address as given, the after thought addition of Louisiana smells of a "found" address used by a Chinese operator, The registration lacks any of the other traditional email or phone#.

As the company is in Hong Kong & China I doubt it is genuine. My friend bought a prom dress from a chinese company and it was very cheap quality material. If you are in UK never buy from overseas, saying that it will take about 2 weeks for delivery from China is they paid the export taxes and if not it will be at customs until you pay the taxes but you will be informed, I presume you have their email address but just in case you don't here it is and i would contact them again, Good Luck

You may have some redress (no pun intended) from Paypal - you can open a dispute.
I ordered a dress for my daughters prom and paid for it via paypal. I received confirmation that payment had been received and the dress was ordered. I went back onto the website and noticed that for some reason there are two more orders of the same dress that are waiting for payment. I have emailed the website and it says they will respond within 24hrs and i have been waiting a week now. I am becoming worried that i havnt heard back from them and even more worried that the website is not genuine and i may have lost my money. Has anyone any experiences of ordering from a site called '4dress.co.uk'. How can i find out if the company is genuine? Any advice appreciated.
