At this point they need the whole amount and will take things from your home to make up the difference. Like your computer with everything you have on it.
If the landlord accepts payment at this point....which he does not have to, you will have to pay all back rent, court cost, sheriff fees and the landlords attorney fees. I suggest you start packing.
They can choose to accept it or not. IF it was me I would not because you can no longer be relied on.
The sheriff just came to my house today to evict me but I wasnt home so it bought me until thursday morning. I applied for assistance thru the state with my case worker shortly after & got approved for a little more than half of my balance I just have to come up with the other half before they will release funds. Now that I have help from dhs will this stop the sheriff's from coming in thursday or will the whole amount need to be paid before then???
