Horror purchase on eBay?

The second option. I know it will take time for you to get your money back but tell the truth and eBay can put a stop to his fake selling which they won't if you lie and claim not received..

In over 12 years buying and selling on ebay, I've only bought one fake item. I opened a claim with paypal. I had to prove that the item wasn't fake. I got my money back, but it took about a month or so and was a relative pain in the ****. But much more preferable than the seller reaping rewards from selling a phony item.

Hi you need to tell the truth here i am a ebayer myself , as you have received the item. You need to tell ebay you received the item explain that you think its fake. Go to the help pages on ebay all about fake items. There is a answer centre with regular ebayers like your self who can advise you further. You also need to send the item back recorded delivery to have proof a receipt with tracking number. To obtain a refund.

The 2nd choice. I understand it will require time to get a money-back however inform the facts as well as auction web sites may stop their phony promoting that they can will not should you lay as well as declare not really obtained..

Try telling the truth. It's quite a good policy in life.

You could also try cutting out the drama - a duff pack of cards is hardly a 'horror' purchase.

I bought a box of trading cards from a questionable seller in eBay. He took 2 weeks to dispatch the item by which point I had opened a case against him saying I had not received the item. With just 6 days left before the case goes to Customer Support he has still not replied or made any contact what so ever and is likely not to as today I received the item and it is an ILLEGAL COPY! Every last pack of cards is a poorly made illegal fake with exactly the same cards in each pack?!?!?

My question is, would it be easier for me to claim I have not received the item (sent standard second class so not recorded) an get my money back or should I update the case and tell them I have received the item and it's fake? I imagine if I went with the latter it would open up a whole can of worms and would mean me getting my money back far later?
