Housing Issues?

You are not on the lease and must move when she does. Do not force the landlord to evict you to try to get back at your sister. That will only ruin your chance for getting another apartment in the future. Besides, if you aren't on the lease, you are trespassing and the landlord can call the police to kick you out without going to court after your sister leaves.

It does not matter if you have paid anything to anyone. The fact remains you are not on the lease & never had any rights to the property. You DO NOT want an eviction on your record. An eviction will make it very hard to rent for many years.

Leases are not transferable.

If you are not on the lease then you have to leave, unless you ask the landlord to be put on the lease

Leave because her name is on the lease. Unless she transfers the lease to you.

You will be a squatter with no rights. Do you want the humiliation of the Police and Baliffs knocking down the door and putting you and your possessions on the street.

You have no right to be there.

We have lived with my sister for a month. Her and her bf name is on the lease. She moved out and he is no longer with us. My name is on the electric and gas and she is ending the lease. Do I get evicted or leave when she wants me to? We are no longer on talking terms. Should I stay and let the land lord evict me or leave when she says leave
