The very fact that your scared shows that your passionate about the job, you care weather you sell something, you want to do better, you want to be the best! I would worry if you didn't care or if your wernt nervous. Look, just find 3 good things about the product you feel people would love about it and find ways you can nit just approach a consumer but relate to them. Remember not everyone is going to say yes but that's part if the job, if you can get them in the door and infirm them..that's one more person who knows about it. Then close and get them to say yes.

Selling is a skill like any other skill. You have to practice it. The more you do, the better you get at it and the more you learn what works and what doesn't work. Also study great sales people. Perhaps asking to go on a sales call with them and just observe.
