Professional inventors will tell you that good ideas alone are a dime a dozen, unfortunately record companies and movie studios return unsolicited submissions unopened, to reduce the chance of lawsuits claiming plagiarism for some coincidental plot similarities. Without an established track record in the industry or representation you probably can't get a foot in the door.

You probably have to put some skin in the game to develop some reputation in order to get anyone to pay attention to your ideas, perhaps creating micro budget youtube productions.

Anyone can come up with ideas. And since no one buys ideas, you will have to write the full script. And you will have to bring it to a *professional* level, which means you'll probably need to write more than one or two pieces, and that will take a while, because you also need to master all of the aspects of the craft. Then, if you really want it to get somewhere, you will have to try and land a manager.

Selling a screenplay is extremely hard, even for repped writers. The industry uses managers and agents as gatekeepers. It's not for people who want to write one screenplay and then disappear to another line of career. If you want your movie made, you will have to pursue screenwriting and work your butt off to get there.
