I've only babysat one family down the street a few times, and she just gives me $60 for every visit, which goes from 6-8 hours usually, which seems like a lot to me, especially since all he does is play Minecraft the whole time. I sit on their couch and watch my DVDs of Doctor Who or Monty Python or whatever. Stuff that if he walks in he won't be scarred for life (sorry I'm rambling so much).
Go to stores in your area and ask if you can advertise your babysitting in whatever form they are most comfortable with. Some places will allow you to have a box of cards but not flyers, etc.
Networking is key! Make sure to chat it up a bit with the people you babysit. It helps if you play with the kid enough or do something that will make the child want you again. Also, the parents could have a lot of friends, and they could possibly recommend you.
Just make sure to include all information such as how long you've been babysitting, the ages you are willing to babysit for, the days and times you are available, your e-mail (maybe your phone number), etc.

You could go to the store buy a couple small poster boards and write what you want on their. i.e. phone number, name, etc. find some wire and glue the wire to the back of the poster, wait for it it dry and stick it in the ground. Do this with like 3 or 4 and put them all around your neighborhood so all can see.
When I was your age I advertised around apartment buildings. and housing complexes.
I am 15 and have babysat to different families children before. all parents were friends with my mum though, and i didnt give them a wage, they just gave me what they wanted. i am also good with all pets and want to advertise. im not looking for MUCH money, i guess its kinda fun. im available at weekends and evenings.
