On the other hand, everything has its price. If your offer is large enough, the owners may be willing to sell it to you. Be prepared to pay a lot more than the property is actually worth.
More than 50 years ago my father "fell in love" with a property and spent several days talking to the owners to get them to sell - when they really didn't want to. He did do it but had to pay way more than the market value and allow them to stay there for several months while they found a place to move to. I bet you will have to do much the same. In other words you will have to value the property at a much higher value than they do.
"but that isnt going to stop me from acquiring it" YES IT WILL!!!!
" Is there any way I can get them to move out so that I may purchase it?" NO! Get over it, grow up & move on.
If they don't want to sell, you will never "acquire" it. Make them an offer, but be prepared to pay much more than it's worth.
Ofcourse you can offer them a good price but its true that You would have to ready to pay more amount than it deserves.
Make them a great offer to buy it and maybe you will get lucky. Other than that there really isn't a way to get them to move out that isn't illegal.
Offer them £50,000 more than they paid for it...that should make them move out..
Okay... so there is this lovely tudor style house that I just adore... sadly it has been sold.. but that isnt going to stop me from acquiring it. Is there any way I can get them to move out so that I may purchase it?(Reasonable answers please)
