It is NOT the ethical or moral way to handle your problems.
You are going to need to pay it forward in the future for making up for what you did now.
1) DO NOT PAY any rent until you have money to move.
2) HOPE that you have the money saved before you are formally evicted from your place. Since you have no received a 3 day pay or quit notice, you won't be evicted until at a minimum the beginning of Jan at this point.
Do NOT get a title loan on your car! Right now, you have the car to take you to work and such. If you take out a title loan and don't pay that, you have limited your livelihood.
LOOK FOR NEW JOBS - that pay more and don't have furloughs at holidays!
You guys start calling friends and family. You will need to put your things into storage or sell/abandon them. If you haven't paid December rent, mom should expect an eviction notice and finding against her, which will make it impossible to rent a decent place.

Apply for a duplicate title at Motor Vehicle tomorrow as soon as they open.
Open a daycare at your home - just take a few children in for immediate cash.
It's amazing what people pay for daycare for kids and dogs.
Ask neighbors if you can take care of any children, elderly - where you don't need a car.
She can get a new title from the County Treasurers office/DMV I think with proof of Car insurance, (needs to be up to date) proof of residency perhaps. Look up the # and give them a call tomorrow. There may be charities in your community that help people in your situation. Google.
you can go down to the DMV and get a copy of the title.
Find new jobs for starters.
So basically, my mom and I are in a financial choke hold. We currently live in an apartment that we are supposed to be moving out of in less then 30 days now. We were supposed to be able to afford to move out by then but because our funds were being pulled in every direction they weren't supposed to go we can not afford to now. We haven't even been able to pay this months rent or any other bills. My mom was going to take a loan out on her car so we could move but she can't find the title so we are at a dead end.
We both work but the bank keeps taking her checks and I make make minimum wage. We will be laid off in a week because where we work has a Christmas break so no money coming in after the coming week. We've thought about selling stuff but it wouldn't be enough to move. So point being, I need ideas on what to do. I've thought about looking up charities because it is beyond me what else to do at this point.....
