I assume you aren't on the lease, In Which case, you give her one full rental term notice.
I don't get what you are talking about with "put paperwork in" and "a transfer moves me to the front of the list", so it's hard to give better advice.
Your roomie can't just move her bf in without landlord approval. This is a violation of the rental agreement.
and not only you, she obviously didn`t ask the landlord if it was ok which she must do.
do you have a lease.. if you do you aren`t going anywhere
tell the landlord she has moved in an unauthorized person.
as for if you do move you don`t tell her you just write it on a piece of paper that you are giving her a 30 day written notice that you are moving out, you will have to give it on or before the last day of the month to end your rental obligation to her for your half of the month. in other words, if you give it to her by midnight tonight then you can move out by the last day of june,... you pay junes rent.
Whose's place is it? if it's your place, they're the ones who should move out.
Just be truthful. Say you feel like things aren't working out and you need more privacy. And you are no longer comfortable living with her and her boyfriend.
You just tell her "its not working out so I'm moving." No need for an "approach."
Well I recently decided to move out because recent changes of life. My roommate decided to have her boyfirend of so far 2 weeks staying with us, without asking me or seeing if I feel comfertable with it. Well now they are trying for a baby so that means whole house baby proof and I can't enjoy my young life of 21, 22 next month. Well I decided to move out because I don't have my space, they are always bugging me and I feel like I can't breathe and he eats my food. Basically making himself comfertable. I want my own place and already put paperwork in. How do I tell my roommate I wanna move out? How do I approach the conversation? I need help asap because a transfer moves me to the front of the waiting list for a 1 bedroom so need advice quick, please and Thank You!!!
