Investing $2,000 a Month in SEO Services?

Posted at: 2015-03-04
SEO is overrated. You can spend thousands of dollars and untold hours trying to get to the top of the heap. Even then new research suggest most people searching for your type of product or service will not choose the first one they find. They will choose one they have heard of over one they have never heard of that is higher on the list. The other thing to consider is when someone does a search for your product or service they also get all your competitors too. The better bet is use other media and blast your name and website, if you want to drive traffic there. It's much better to have people search for Northern widgets Canada inc. Than have them search for widgets in Canada. If they can search for you secifically you will not have to worry about your competitors showing up. Most SEo companies will give you the most up to date trick to get to the top... and then next week go to your competitor and give them this weeks tricks and tips, It's a never ending battle and not worth the invetment.

You answered your own question.

And I quote" All my past SEO developers have either been based in India or the Philippines, getting way cheaper labor. But right now, with the new rules, I have to find an SEO company that is more reputable, since quality is more important than quantity."

Quality always trumps quantity. But that's not to say you can get quality oversees.

I own a US based SEO, SEM, SMM, ORM and site Development Firm and yep, I am more expensive and not one bit ashamed to admit it. However, I do not "gouge" my clients and even though I offer "standard" SEO, SMM, and ORM and site development packages, I also tailor my services around their specific needs, goals, time-frame and budget.

We also are not a "cookie-cutter" SEO firm and I have noticed that US companies are more diversified and diversity is key to any successful SEO/SEM campaign.

Meaning, at my company, we offer our clients more than just SEO, we actually market their site, service and/or product. I just closed a client two days ago (competing against everyone and their brother) because out of 100 bids (from 2 sites) I was the only one who suggested he market his product on Pinterest in addition to on-page/off-page SEO. I outbid my competitors by an avg. of $500 per month and still got the project.

My clients prefer and appreciate the fact that I'm from the US and are willing to pay for this.

We also let it be known that we practice strict white-hat only techniques and all work is performed manually and our clients appreciate this as well. We keep up to date on marketing best practices, algorithm updates, TOSs etc.

Peace of mind goes a long way.

If you had good results with an oversees SEO company in the past and you have a tight budget then I suggest you start there again. I am in no way knocking my competitors. There are some GREAT oversea SEO firms and some bad ones...just like here in the US, UK, AU and everywhere else--you will always have both the good and bad apples.

I am a firm believer in the old adage you get what you pay for.

I wish you the best of luck with your SEO.

SEO Packages offered by Search Engine Experts are very affordable. Affordable SEO Packages from $250, $450 or $700. SEO Prices for Clients Worldwide.

You are right that most of the companies are still working on old techniques which doesnt work anymore after poenguins update, although companies overcomes panda but oenguin is still a big challenge. In short, I just want to tell you that hire any company based on these parameters:

- Set a limited budget of $200 to $500

- Ask them to show their current projects and the ranks of their keywords

- Ask them to show you their seo reports which they send to their clients

- See how many links per month they build actually, bcoz penguin is more about unnatural links in excess. So this is most important factor.

- Read the articles they write for seo, quality articles is most important

- Try to make some efforts from your side, put genuine content on the site pages and try to change that content in every 10 days.

Recommended companies- www.gowebbaby.com, www.expertvillagemedia.com

Both of the above companies are doing well in small budget and delivering great results.

Hi Black J. There are lots of other reliable SEO companies out there that provides you with solid results without charging you thousands of dollars per month.

Take our company, for example. AudienceBloom is founded by Jayson DeMers, an authority in Google Penguin recovery. Jayson has published some of his thoughts on Google Penguin recovery and current SEO best practices on Mashable, Search Engine Journal and GeekWire.

AudienceBloom now has several dozens of satisfied customers from a wide range of industries. Our SEO package starts at $499 per month.

Going back to your question, yes I think it would be worth taking a risk going with a more reputable U.S. based digital marketing company, if they can truly provide you with solid results. But you should try other U.S. based companies that offer the same solid results without you having to spend thousands.

This can be a big gamble on your part. I have been working with an Australian firm which offer SEO packages at around $400-500. The company is http://www.cheap-web.com.au/. I would recommend using their services.

Why don't you try Prism Software Ltd. - Prism Software - is an ISO 9001:2008 and Microsoft Small Business Specialist Company in Nagpur, India with proven competencies in custom software development, iPhone Mobile App Development, ASP.Net, Open Source, PHP, Web Application Development and offshore IT outsourcing services. in most cases a search engine spider robot will index the principle page of a blog and follow the readily available links to the other internet pages deep within the interior of the web site. however , if your home page navigation system is in java script, or you are applying images instead of content material, some of the search engines aren't going to be able to read the back links and will then pass-up the pages strong within your sit

For greatest SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION outcomes My partner and i recommend making use of Google Search Bot: http://is.gd/gsbsoftware Utilizing that software program We've placed our internet site to very first page of Google on a extremely high aggressive search term.

using a blogger website, you will have to have several blogs of many different subjects/names/etc. the search engines pace blogs differently than a normal site. so it is the very information/text in the weblog that will be found, certainly not the meta tag words & title.

I have worked with at least 5 different SEO developers already in the past, pre-panda/pre-penguin. Most of them used massive link building techniques, which were still effective in the past until the Panda and Penguin came out.

Now, the rules of SEO have changed already, and many of those companies that offer the old techniques are out-dated already. SEO is a whole different language today, and the SEO developer I work with should adapt to the new strategy.

All my past SEO developers have either been based in India or the Philippines, getting way cheaper labor. But right now, with the new rules, I have to find an SEO company that is more reputable, since quality is more important than quantity.

I inquired on a few U.S. Based SEO companies, such as Webimax, SEOP, etc, and their rates start anywhere from $1,500-$2,000 a month, but they suggest their more expensive package at $2,500 a month. This is at least 4-5 times what I used to pay for SEO.

Investing this type of money would be a huge gamble on my part, since these SEO companies do not offer any type of assurance with rankings. It may work on improving our rankings, or it could not move at all. Either way, I have to pay the monthly fee. And they mention that I have to give it at least 4 months to see reasonable results, after I have paid at least $6,000 to $10,000 already in SEO services.

My question is, would it be worth the risk going with a more reputable U.S. Based SEO company, paying 4-5 times more than India and Philippine SEO?

if you happen to didn't follow, the point is to make sure that there is one simple h1 tag on each page. if you have more than one h1 tag, a lot of search engines won't love it.
