It is kind of a tough thing to understand how much it costs to live on your own at your age. My advice is to talk to your parent(s) about the expenses they pay for your family to live to get an idea of all that you will have to cover. Sure, your power bill may be less than theirs, but it will give you a good perspective. Save every penny you can!!.
Not even close unless you have a job also. It is more cost effective to stay home and go to a junior college whether you like it or not.
If you're planning on just moving out without going to school 4000 will be a good start just to get by a couple months if that. So before you plan on moving you need to get a job at whatever location you are trying to go. Now if you want to go to college 4000 is only a penny especially since you are required to pay out of state tuition. So first save up more money, get a job and maybe roommate, if you want take online or community school classes to get your foot in the door and make financial aid and scholarship your best friends and then by that time you will be considered instate for tuition. Good luck
Four grand won't last long. How will you support yourself? What income will you have?
I don't think its enough money, regardless if you are guy who doesn't spend much on trivial materialistic things or entertainment. You have other expenses that $4000 bucks can't get you going.
not even close. If you take a full time course load, your first tuition bill will probably be more than that.
I'm 16 and i have been working for years. By the end of this summer, I will have about $2000 on my bank account. By the time i turn 18 i will have about $4000. I am moving out on my 18th birthday because i will be going to a college far away since i dont like the colleges in my city.
