Thanks
In some cases you establish a relationship with prospects that might results in sales at a later date, studies have talked about some needing to be exposed to a brand or product 7 times before they have the trust to make a purchase, interrupting someone's social activity works better with a friendly soft ad than a hard sell. Ad cost is lower when landing on Facebook page, there are also more possibilities for getting your advert rated by users this way. Certain sales of products not approved by Facebook has to be done away from facebook.
Yes offcourse! Facebook serves as an effective advertising medium for website. Advertising directly to the facebook page is much effective in translating the sales. Well, apart from this if you think about the cost factor, you would find that it charges much lesser price.
Yeah! It's supposed to be effective while comparing Adwords including the image based adverts. Considering the visits there are several number of users who are found active on Facebook and thus, the advertisements seem to make an impact here.
Moreover, it depends with the mobile world. Accessing smart phones has paved a way to make things happen. Henceforth, there isn't any necessity for a user to hand on with their PC's or laptop. Smart phones have the smarter options, right?
Possibly, there are points to pose for positive deeds rather considering the negative approaches. You could try advertising in Facebook :)
Hi Al,
The best thing about Facebook is the huge database of user information and habits that they have. This allows you to be able to segment the people that you present your product/services to - age, interests, gender, etc.
First decide what your goals are- sell more stuff, build brand awareness, Facebook likes... Once you figure that get set up to measure those goals. Once you know your goals, you'll know whether to goo direct to site or facebook page.
I hope that helps.

facebook is indeed effective in advertising. aside from reaching to real users you can as well make pages for your websites. just know how to use it correctly to attain your goal.
Could it translate to sales and what could be better - advertise direct to site or to facebook page?
Thanks
