I have a friend that spent a night in jail because of this. You probably won't get caught but if you are it is trespassing.
No. The house belongs to someone. Check with the tax assesors office to find out who owns it, then get permission. Other wise it's a crime to enter.
Yes it is classed as trespassing yet if people see you with your camera they will see you are doing no harm, and just go about their day if the police ask, just say you are documenting the place and are not doing any criminal damage but if some one turns up and they ask you to leave just do so politely. It is called urban exploring. remember if you decide to go and some one asks you to leave do not argue just say okay sorry and leave the people will probably be kind about it :)
Technically it is trespassing. If you get caught tell them why you were there. You can go to the county and find out who owns it and get permission.
No, it's trespassing. Someone owns it.
its not your house, tresspassing, unlwaful entry, Sinc eall the windows are already gone, B&E not an issue.
WSith a camera in your hands, the cops, if they bothered to show up, would probably just warn you off ... once.
not trespassing...breaking and entering....creepy...could get shot?? what do we know for sure...you don't need to be there
If nobody is in possession or ownership, you can definitely enter. But when somebody proves that he is the owner and has right to possession, you will have to vacate.
you would be trespassing - someone owns the property
I'm working on a photography portfolio, and I recently discovered this beautiful and very large house close to my own home. The windows are all broken, there is heavy amounts of graffiti and broken bottles around and it's just a mess, but it's so spooky and thrilling to look at I'd really like to explore the inside. There are no 'No Trespassing' signs around and nothing is locked up (anymore, anyway). Actually the place is just buried in forest with only a thin dirt road leading to it. If I go in, am I trespassing? I noticed some construction happening not too far away, so I'd rather not get caught digging around the house if it is. I'd go at night BUTTT... it's really creepy.
