Are you planning to live in the house with your dad, or what? Where does he live now? There are a lot of things you could do, but they're complicated and take time. Do you know why his credit is bad? Credit can be improved. Sometimes fast. And you can get a job, can't you? But you will have to have the job for some time before it will count.

If your plan is to live with your dad in the house you want to buy, why not move in with him now, wherever he is now, then start working on his credit and your job? Or are you already living together in the noisy apartment?

Sorry, but no one is going to give you a mortgage under those circumstances. You must have income to qualify for a mortgage - you don't, so no mortgage for you. You must have good credit - your father doesn't, so no mortgage for him. The only way to buy a house in your circumstance is cash.

Unless you are paying cash, you wont be able to buy this house. Either have your dad improve his credit or go and get a job.

If the house is small, that it is more likely possible than getting a big house.

I am currently living in an apartment in an extremely noisy location and I have noisy neighbors. I want to move into a house, but my dad has bad credit, although my credit is excellent. The thing is though, he has a job and I don't, so even if I wanted to buy a house under my name, I don't think we could because I do not have income. And HE can't buy the house even though he has income because of his credit.

Does anyone know if it's possible to somehow buy a house? I know nothing about this sort of stuff, so if anyone had some tips or information about whether it's possible, I'd appreciate it.
